Beet Pickled deviled eggs – Hofi Cas Cora!

Beet Pickled deviled eggs

  1. Boil and peel the eggs
  2. Pre-cook and peel the beets
  3. To pickle the red beets:
    • 1:1 Sweet sour
    • 1 cup apple cider,1 cup sugar,
    • 1 cup water,
    • 1 bay leaf.
  1.  Pour sweet and sour cold over the red beets.
    • Keep the “beet juice”
  2. Add your boiled eggs to the water of beet pickles and let stand for 1 hour
  3. Take the egg yolk out of the boiled eggs and make any classic deviled aka “webu yena” recipe.
    • For example:
    • Egg yolk – mustard, mayonnaise, parsley, spring onion, salt & pepper. All mix well.
  4. Add the egg yolk mixture into the egg white ( which is now red)
  5.  Garnish chopped chopped pickled beets to the mix
